Dear Market Participants,

SEMO have identified that two manifest errors have recently occurred.

Details of the manifest errors is as follows:

1.     Incorrect application of LOCL/CRLO Instruction.

The LOCL instruction is intermittently not being applied after a CRLO has been issued. The result is that the QBOA is not calculated for the impacted units, resulting in impact to Imbalance Price. This issue is logged as ID 6021 in the Known Issues Report. There were multiple occurrences of this issue throughout Saturday the 21st of September.

2.     Units not being flagged on upward slope of reserve curve, despite reserve constraint binding

A small subset of units have a unique reserve curve whereby they have both a positive slope at the beginning of the curve and a negative slope at the end of the curve. If reserve is binding all units with a non-zero slope should be flagged. The positive slope is not being flagged correctly. If the unit is on a positive slope and the constraint is binding the unit will not be flagged and may contribute to the price as a result. Note, this defect is only present on four units. The impacted periods are as follows:
