Action required - New ComTrader Version 6.8.50.4 available: decimal separator issue solved

Dear  Trading Participants,

Further to our communication on the 11th March regarding the number style in the ComTrader settings, we advise that this issue has now been fixed with the new version 6.8.50.4 and is available now to download.

We strongly recommend switching to this new ComTrader version now to avoid potential order submission issues.

Identified bug in Intraday Continuous ComTrader version 6.8.50.3

Please be aware a bug has been identified in the latest version of the Intraday Continuous ComTrader (version 6.8.50.3). The bug relates to the number style in the settings menu.

What is the problem?

(1)          European number style is set

If you have set your ComTrader for European number style please make sure you are only using a coma (,) in the qty and price fields.

Any other character entered will not be recognized and result in an incorrect interpretation of the value - e.g. 2530 Euro instead of 25,30 Euro

(2)          American number style is set

If you have set your ComTrader for American number style please make sure you are only using dot (.) in the qty and price fields.

Any other character entered will not be recognized and result in an incorrect interpretation of the value - e.g. 2530 Euro instead of 25.30 Euro

Partial Workaround?

Please be aware there is the option to set order validations on a product level for prices, quantities and cash values in ComTrader.

This feature can be found in the General menu under settings.

What are the next steps?

The problem has already been communicated to our system provider and they are analysing the issue.

We will inform you once we have any further update or a fix is available.

Please inform your colleagues about this and contact the SEMOpx Helpdesk (Option 2) with any questions you may have.
