Dear Market Participant,
The Balancing Market Principles Statement aims
to set out in a clear and comprehensible manner how the statutory obligations
that govern the scheduling and dispatch process are fulfilled.
EirGrid and SONI have today published for
consultation proposed revisions to the Balancing Market Principles Statement.
The proposed revisions are presented for consultation in accordance with
Transmission System Operator Licence obligations (Condition 22B of SONIs and
Condition 10B of EirGrids TSO licences) and SEM Committee decision SEM-16-058
Balancing Market Principles Statement Terms of Reference.
Two
documents are provided for this consultation:
1.
Consultation
Cover Note including a summary of revisions and guidance on the
consultation process.
2.
Redline
Version 2.1 of the Balancing Market Principles Statement, showing all
proposed revisions to the current Version
2.0.
Respondents should focus their feedback on the
proposed revisions only.
Responses to this consultation should be sent
to BMPS@EirGrid.com or BMPS@SONI.ltd.uk before 5pm on Thursday
7 February.
