Updated message 11/01/2023;

Dear Market Participant,

The root cause of this issue remains under investigation with our vendor with a further update to be provided as more information becomes available.

SEMO Settlements can confirm that it was specifically all DSUs which were impacted by this issue. You can identify if you were impacted by this issue if you were expecting to receive a start-up (CSU) payment as per F.11.2 of the TSC and did not receive the payment.

As per the previous market message update, a workaround was implemented on Jan 4th (applicable from December 29th initial settlement data onwards) for this issue to prevent it causing any further incorrect settlement calculations. This is a temporary solution while our vendor investigates the issue and develops a permanent solution.

An Ad hoc resettlement of the impacted billing periods will be processed over the coming weeks with a target date of Jan 20th for inclusion with Settlement Documents.

A separate Ad hoc resettlement market message will be issued on this once the Ad hoc resettlement is confirmed in the Settlement calendar.

Kind regards,

SEMO Settlements
