Dear Member,

To prepare you for the Summer Daylight Saving Time Change (DST 23, Short Clock Change), which will take place in the night of Saturday 30 March to Sunday 31 March 2024, please find below additional information for API users only (ETS Client users are not impacted).

In Production, please be aware that during the night of Thursday 28 March to Friday 29 March and Friday 29 March to Saturday 30 March, the API session keys (active sessions) will be closed by the system at 01:00 AM instead of 02:00 AM as usual.

On Thursday 28 March, between 18:15 GMT and 18:30 GMT, your API user(s) will be shortly disconnected from ETS Production.

As of Saturday night 30 March, the API session keys will be closed by the system at 02:00 AM.

Please ensure that your API will not face any issue by this change.

In Simulation 2, please be aware that this change has taken place on Thursday 28 March morning. The API session keys (active sessions) has been closed by the system at 01:00 AM instead of 02:00 AM as usual.

As of Saturday night 30 March, the API session keys will be closed by the system at 02:00 AM.

We strongly encourage you to check in the SIMULATION 2 environment if there is any impact/change for your API.

Please be reminded, the Daylight Saving Time Test Session (DST 23, Short Clock Change), is scheduled on 12th March 2024 for trading day 30th March 2024 in the ETS simulation 2 environment. This test is optional, but participation is strongly advised, especially for members using an API access. Members using the ETS client are advised to participate and familiarize themselves with the DST order submission and market result format.

There is no registration needed to participate in the DST test. Members will simply need to connect to the simulation environment and place bids for trading day 30th March 2024 (Delivery date 31st March 2024).

Please note: Unexpected ETS client behaviour has been observed on this day. ETS client will become unresponsive when members click on the “Show Indexes” button. Therefore, please be reminded to not use this feature for trading day 30th March 2024 (Delivery date 31st March 2024). Instead, please use the Market results option. All other buttons are not impacted. The API is also not impacted.
