Dear Market Participant,

The System Operators are concerned about the validity of some Balancing Market submissions by Market Participants.

This has been discussed numerous times at various forums including the MOUG and the Daily Participant Calls.

There are regular occurrences whereby incorrect Forecast Availability is submitted by participants through the MPI.

This adversely effects the quality of the operational schedules produced and the resultant schedules may not reflect actual commitment.

As stressed previously this has adverse results in scheduling and market results. We would remind all participants that it is your obligation to ensure the accuracy of  data prior to submission and to avoid any gaps.
