Dear Capacity Market Participants,
The System Operators have published an Accession Process and Provisional Registration Process – Guidance Note, along with updated C01-C02-C11 – Capacity Market Party and Unit Registration V2.0 forms to the SEMO website.
All persons intending to register a new Party via the Accession Process and/or provisionally register a new Candidate Unit (or a combination of units including that Candidate Unit) are strongly encouraged to review this Guidance Note in full, and ensure they are using the latest version of the C01-C02-C11 – Capacity Market Party and Unit Registration V2.0 when preparing their submissions.
As outlined at sections B.5.1 and B.5.2 of the Capacity Market Code (the ‘Code’) respectively, the Accession Process and the provisional registration process can take time to complete. The quality and completeness of submissions will affect this timeline. All persons looking to accede to the Code and/or provisionally register a new Candidate Unit(s) for the 2030/2031 T-4 Capacity Auction are urged to begin both processes as early as possible. The completed C01-C02-C11 – Capacity Market Party and Unit Registration V2.0 should be submitted to capacitymarketregistration@sem-o.com.
All persons are solely responsible for reviewing the Code and the relevant Agreed Procedures in full and for ensuring that they are aware of all applicable timelines and obligations. This guidance note is provided for convenience only and does not purport to be exhaustive. It must be read in conjunction with the Code and the relevant Agreed Procedures.
Capacity Auction Timetable for 2030/2031 T-4 Capacity Auction is available here.
Should you have any queries or concerns regarding the above, please do not hesitate to get in touch at capacitymarket@sem-o.com
