Dear Market Participant,

We would like to provide Participants with notification of a Balancing Market outage next week on Wednesday the 12th of November 2025, taking place between 14:00 and 18:00. 

Following on from the scheduled deployment of Release N, this outage is to facilitate the conversion of Energy Storage Power Systems (ESPS) from Multi-fuel to Battery Storage fuel type, as part of the Scheduling and Dispatch SDP_02 initiative. During this time the Balancing Market Interface will be unavailable and Imbalance Pricing will also be offline. The changes will take effect in the market systems from 23:00 on 12th November 2025.

Note, a further outage to Imbalance Pricing is required between 23:00 and 02:00 in order to complete the cutover activities. 

A notification will be sent once the outage begins, and again upon completion of the outage.
