Dear Capacity Market Participant,
The System Operators wish to update you on some important upcoming events in preparation for the new Secondary Trading Module within CMP which is in its final stages of development.
The implementation of the Secondary Trading module in CMP is to give effect to CMC_09_22 and to create a more robust, secure, user-friendly channel for submission of Secondary Trades to replace current email-based submissions.
Online Secondary Trading Training Sessions
The System Operators will be hosting a series of training sessions to bring Capacity Market Participants through the new Secondary Trading process via CMP. In advance of the training sessions, a detailed Secondary Trading User Guide will be made available to industry to review. The same information will be presented in the sessions scheduled for 2nd April and 14th April. Following each session, Capacity Market Participants will have the opportunity to submit feedback to the System Operators. The training session scheduled for 21st April will address the feedback received from Capacity Market Participants.
The sessions will be held via MS Teams, and the MS Teams invite will be issued separately in advance of each session. Each session will be scheduled for 1 hour and 30 minutes. The training sessions will comprise of training presentations and live demonstrations. As the sessions progress, the Secondary Trading User Guide will be updated to incorporate any necessary information for Capacity Market Participants to submit Secondary Trades via the CMP.
As the Capacity Market Platform will be the primary channel for submission of Secondary Trades following the Go Live of the new Secondary Trading Module, it is recommended that at least one of your team attends either the first or second session, and the third session. The System Operators will schedule additional sessions as required.

Important Information on Secondary Trading Go-Live
Go Live for the Secondary Trading module is scheduled for the end of April. There will be a transition period where members of the Capacity Market team will be available to assist Capacity Market Participants via a Secondary Trading helpdesk. The System Operators will aim to resolve any queries or questions via email, with an option for MS Teams call where needed. More information on how the helpdesk will operate will be issued in the coming weeks.
