Dear Capacity Market Participant and Future Capacity Market Participants,
This is a reminder that, as per the Capacity Auction Timetable for the 2027/2028 T-1 Capacity Auction, the Participation Notice Closing Date is Thursday, 3rd December 2026.
If you intend to register a new Party via the Accession Process and/or provisionally register a new Candidate Unit (or a combination of units including that Candidate Unit), please review the Accession Process and Provisional Registration Process – Guidance Note in full. When preparing your submission, please ensure you use the latest version of the C01-C02-C11 – Capacity Market Party and Unit Registration V2.0 form. These documents should be submitted to capacitymarketregistration@sem-o.com, copying capacitymarket@sem-o.com.
If you already have a Party ID and Candidate Unit GU/DSU ID(s), you do not need to complete the Capacity Market Party and Unit Registration Forms again.
Once registered, your Party ID and Candidate Unit GU/DSU ID(s) will remain unchanged for future Capacity Auctions. If you wish to make any amendments, such as Unit Deregistration, Capacity Transfer, name changes, or other updates, please contact capacitymarketregistration@sem-o.com (copying capacitymarket@sem-o.com) for further information.
Please note that the Participation Notice Closing Date applies only to Parties and/or Candidate Units that are not currently registered in the Capacity Market.
