Dear Market Participant,
SEMO wishes to advise that a new section has been introduced on the SEMO website for the publication of Day Ahead Market Back Up Price, available at the following link.
Under Section E.2.2 of the Trading and Settlement Code, the Market Back Up Price applies where the Market Operator is unable to calculate and publish the Imbalance Price and/or the Imbalance Settlement Price within the required timeframes. Where a system generated Market Back Up Price cannot be calculated, the Market Back Up Price is based on Day Ahead Market prices in accordance with Section E.5 of the Code.
With effect from today, the Market Back Up Price Report will no longer be published in the General Publications section of the SEMO website. This new webpage replaces the existing publication process for Day Ahead Market Back Up Prices.
