2026/2027 T-1 Capacity Auction - Participation Notice Closing Date: 12th January 2026
As per the 2026/2027 T-1 Capacity Auction Timetable, the Participation Notice Closing Date is 12th January 2026. Participants intending to submit an Application for Qualification for New Capacity that has not yet been assigned a unit ID should submit a registration pack as soon as possible and no later than the 12th January 2026. Further information and guidance on the requirements for registering a new Party, a new Participant, and/or a new Unit can be found here.
Registration packs should be submitted to CapacityMarketRegistration@sem-o.com. Please note that if you already have a unit ID for a proposed unit, a new Participation Notice is not required.
2026/2027 T-1 Capacity Auction - Qualification Application Opening Date: 5th February 2026
In respect of the Qualification Application Opening Date on 5th February 2026, Participants are asked to check their access to the Capacity Market Platform (CMP). Access to CMP (including having a valid digital certificate) is required in order to submit an Application for Qualification.
Participants are reminded that digital certificates can be renewed within 30 days of the expiry date, as per the “Export, Import and Renew Security Certificates_PKI” guide below. Additionally, Party Administrative Users (PAU) for each Party are asked to perform a review of the Users associated with their Party to ensure that any Users that are no longer required to access the CMP are removed from the platform (PAU via C03 form).
